With all the rain we've been having lately, "Smurf villages" (as my kids call them) are popping up everywhere- in the lawn, the flowerbeds, the flowerpots. They're actually getting to be quite an annoyance! The other day from the kitchen window I spotted something in the flowerbed out of the corner of my eye. I had to go investigate. But as I got closer- Oh, it's just another "Smurf village"! I continued to walk towards it and take a closer look. They're actually pretty cool looking and it made me realize that sometimes I need to just slow down and enjoy all the little things in life- even these crazy little annoyances!
There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.
1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints.
2. Be sure to link so others can find the entire list of participants! Go to PamperingBeki's blog to add your link to the list of participants.

Oh, cool mushrooms! I'll have to tell a friend of mine (who adores all types of fungi) to stop by:)
Very interesting! Isn't it amazing what we find when we slow down and take time to look at every little thing?
Very cool! Glad you took the time to take a closer look!
I'm always amazed when mushrooms pop up - one of God's little surprises! Thanks for reminding me of that :)
Adorable! Definitely one of God's little mystery surprises. Don't know why they exsist, but whatever. They're super cute!
